This day was another dull day — same routines.
The nurses use a pen to record the patient’s blood pressure and temperature on a chart. The mean nurse who wears goggles was so busy trying to take my cup of water that she accidentally left her writing pen on my tray table. I hid the pen in the sheets of my bed. Then I got a paper mask and began the third pouch. I wrote Daniel’s phone number and Rosita’s phone number inside. I also made up codes for my observations about the patient monitors.
In my evening video call with Daniel. I use code words and references again to try and explain what is happening here. I ask him to do everything he can to get me out of this nightmare.
